Project Description

Located in the Alcântara valley, an urban area, the largest covered WWTP in the country was designed keeping in mind the environmental requalification of the area and its surroundings. The green roofs of the WWTP in Alcântara help it integrate into the landscape, reduce exposure to the sun and flash-flooding, improving air quality, creating habitats and encouraging biodiversity.
