Project Description
This is 2.9 km of tunnel that links Parc Nord and Sabadell Stations to complete the extension between Parc Nord and Ca n’Oriac (700 metres), already finished. In this work, the expanded clay replaced the compacted soil, with the advantage of having a mass of 400 to 500 kg/m³, which means a decrease in permanent weight in the tunnel. The mechanical resistance is similar and there are no significant long-term flow effects.
